Keep in mind that the first hunters to try their luck each fall have the first crack at the biggest bucks! Prime time for big whitetail deer hunting activity is during the rut from late October through November. Late season hunting in December can also be good. |

The Macaulay's Upper Peninsula Deer Hunting property offers deer hunting guide services. we are also happy to help recover wounded deer or assist in dragging bagged bucks. Our property covers a total of 520 acres of prime whitetail deer country and our guide services can be requested. |

- Deer Blinds on the Macaulay Property are available as heated ground blinds and elevated blinds.

| - Whitetail Deer are reddish brown in the spring and summer, then turn grey-brown throughout the fall of & winter.
- Whitetail Deer males weigh from 130 to 220 pounds, but some have been known to be in excess of 350 pounds!
- Females during the rut enter "estrus".
- Whitetail Deer Antlers start growing in the late spring.
